This is a new segment I'm trying called #Bruceysbookreviews.
My intention is to give you the key principles you need, at a faster rate than reading the book, as well as my own helpful experiences and insights (particularly with some military background myself on this one) regarding leadership
I'd love to hear from you if you listened, and you want more. I'd be hugely grateful if you told me what you that of this style of episode.
Email me at info@embstrategies.com.au and tell me what you think
The leader of the most decorated platoon in the Iraq war, Jocko Willink is fast becoming an iconic figure of the modern day era on the many topics involved in leadership.
His book clearly shows the powerful lessons that have been transferred from some of the most gruesome battlefields in history (that he experienced first hand), to the business arena.
As always, I THANK YOU for your valuable time.

That's what Luke is about, and he is definitely exceptional at it.

I loved having Myf on the show because she somebody who leads by example in everything she does
She has a wide array of skills and is proof that you don't have to be limited to just doing or being one thing
We talk about how she gets whatever she puts her mind to
Myffy was a professional cyclist racing in Europe overseas before retiring and taking on roles in retail management and then in events and marketing.
Her background in health and fitness lead her to take up dual roles as co-owner and business manager of Functional Fitness Australia, a brand of training facilities that is dedicated to improving each individual’s relationship with their body and how it moves to enable them to enrich their lives outside of the gym. What she enjoys most about the facilities is being able to see first hand the impact that the business's products and services have in her community.
Outside of the gym she is completing her Bachelors of Business specialising in Marketing via distance education and working as a marketing coordinator at GEOCON where she is responsible for managing the company's 3D modelling and Virtual Reality projects.
